Dr Weber advises and represents medium-sized and larger companies and corporations organized under private and public law. Among other things, he focuses on advising and representing healthcare facilities, i.e. hospitals but also medical service centres (“MVZ”) and other licensed service providers.
Dr Weber supports our clients in practically all areas of labour law. This includes not only individual labour law with all its facets (from the drafting of contracts to the implementation of terminations including termination disputes), but also works constitution law (from the drafting and negotiation of company agreements to disputed proceedings with the works council, if necessary, also the general or group works council) including the implementation of arbitration committees. In addition to general labour law, he also covers the areas of collective bargaining law, labour disputes, working time law and temporary employment law.
Another focus of his work is social security law. In this area, he advises and represents our clients during company audits. Important issues in this regard include bogus self-employment (freelance staff) as well as the obligation to pay social insurance contributions, including the clean-up of any misconduct.
Dr Weber is also a well-known expert in the field of company pension schemes, where he has been able to gain extensive experience since the very beginning of his legal career, including the law of public supplementary pension funds (“ZVK”). Dr Weber also advises our clients during restructuring and corporate acquisitions in the area of labour law. The topic of insolvency labour law rounds out his consulting approach.
Dr Weber obtained his university entrance qualification at the high school of the “Regensburg Domspatzen”. After studying law at the Universities of Passau and St. Petersburg, he received his doctorate in labour law from the University of Augsburg on the subject of “target agreements”.
After his legal clerkship with periods in Munich, Moscow and Los Angeles he was admitted to the bar in 2010. Hereafter he worked several years as a lawyer in large and medium-sized law firms with a focus on labour law. In 2014 Dr Weber joined ENDEMANN.SCHMIDT as a co-founder, and in 2017 he became a partner (shareholder) in the law firm.
Dr Weber is a licensed specialist lawyer for labour law, a trained mediator (CVM) specialising in business mediation and works for our clients throughout Germany from both our Munich and Hamburg offices. Furthermore he accepted a teaching position as a lecturer at the FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management in Munich for the winter semester 2023/24, where he will henceforth teach regularly.
